Default had to set 3 decimal places but looks awful !

I have a product with a small price of £0.025 and sell in thousands, then the price ends up as £250.000.

If I put 2 decimal places in currency it rounds up to £0.03 and grossly overcharges.

Is there a setting or a way that I can set the 3 decimal places and then restrict it in the product display and shopping cart so it would read £250.00 ?

    thanks

I take it that there is no workaround for this ?

Surely a unit price can't be restricted to 2 decimal places ?
