I am currently running zencart 1.3.8

I am attempting to set up Paypal Web Payments Standard on my newly installed ZenCart. I followed all of the instructions in the quickstart guide to the letter:


1. Set up and verified a paypal premier account
-- Set my IPN URL add.
-- Set my Automatic Return URL

2. Set up ZenCart Paypal Payment Standard Module
-- Uploaded my PDT Token
-- Set my Business ID


I even ran the test program in the extras folder, and it said that everything was running properly.

I then made a purchase from my store using the sample products that came with the cart. It loaded everything into the cart just fine, I then proceeded to checkout and set up a customer account.

The cart asked me for my credit card information, and then to confirm the order. I then received a thank you screen, and several confirmation emails. In my admin area the orders show up as "pending", but my credit card has not been billed, and Paypal has no record of a transaction occurring.

I tried a second purchase (from the sample products) a day later with the same results.

From what I understand, when you use Paypal Payments Standard, it is supposed to direct you to their site for checkout. This did not happen with either of my two purchases.

Does anyone know why this might happen?
