Need some help please

I am a designer in a new store that is scheduled to open tomorrow. The owner and ourselves can not figure out how to add our uploads to FileZilla securely. Meaning...she has it set up for all of us to have individual logins and private folders in order to prevent others from looking or taking our products. But, when an order is placed instead of getting a download link after being redirected back to the site we are getting a page stating "Forbidden: You don't have permission to access "name of zip folder" on this server Additionally a 404 error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle this request. How do we go about getting our zip folders onto FTP without her having to go in and switch all of our zip to the download file herself? Is there a way to continue to have our private folders and continue to upload ourself and make it work without getting the above error message everytime.
