After Conversion No Reviews for Products

I have googled and googled, but I am unable to find an answer.

I am in the process of helping my friend get his site setup after converting it from OsCommerce to Zen Cart 1.3.8. Everything seems to be working just fine except I cannot figure out what happen to the reviews for his products that were in OsCommerce but are now gone in Zen Cart.

If anybody could tell me if they are gone for good, or I just am not looking in the right spots to reactivate them as it were.

How did you transfer the reviews over?

jtellup, a site member did the conversion from Os commerce to Zen Cart. So I am not entirely sure how he did the conversion, I am guessing he followed the set parameters for it.

The site works great, its just that the reviews seem to have gone the way of the dodo. I do have the latest backup from Os Commerce before the conversion.

Reviews should be straightforward to convert over, but the conversion mods that I've seen tend to focus on customers, orders, categories and products. Maybe the person who did your conversion just didn't convert the reviews, but you'd have to ask him about that.

I was going to ask you just about that, I had a feeling that he may have not checked to grab the reviews also, I do have all the original backups of the Os Commerce. I will get a hold of him and ask what he used and see if he can grab the reviews from the backups.
