EZ-Pages Disable Column

I'm attempting to disable right column for Privacy Ez-Page (and others). I've used Configuration/EZ-Pages to disable right column for the Privacy Page (getting number of the page from Tools/Ez-Pages), but the right column still shows up.

This is a new install of ZenCart, downloaded today. There have been no modifications to the code.

Any suggestions?

I know that I can change the code to keep the right column from displaying. But I'd really rather use the functionality that is supposedly built into the admin interface, rather than change code.

Does the turn column off function in admin not work??? If so, is it a known bug?

Actually, that turns everything off, not columns right for particular ez-pages, which is what I wanted to do.

I have discovered that the feature does not work in the basic package as downloaded. However, if you add a new ez-page it will work on that page. It just won't work on the default pages that come with the install. A minor bug, I assume, but one that's easy to work around.

If an ezpage internal link points to a defined page, eg: index.php?main_page=privacy, then what is happening is that the page will REFRESH fully (that's what the URL is asking).It's not loading an EZPage, but a DEFINED PAGE.

So, it's not possible to disable columns for internal EZpage LINKS to defined pages using the EZpages configuration settings, and one has to use the main_page.php technique advocated by Misty earlier.

Thanks for the explanation. Said another way, if I insert the html at Admin/Tools/EZ-Pages it works. If I use an internal link, it doesn't. That allows me to get around the problem without resorting to changing code.
