Problems with Blank Sidebox

Can anybody help me with a script inside of the blank sidebox script.

I put in a simple form with only 2 inputs.
but I need to process this with some php code.

<?php
post variable, mail(blah)
?>

when I try to put $_SERVER['self'] inside the action tag, it comes back that there is a php error.

So what I am asking does anybody know how to put some html, mixed with php and possible a little bit of javascript if need be inside the blank sidebox. It seems that when you put in php code, it shows an error

Not sure what the code you are adding looks like or what it is calling but php in a sidebox or html mix is allowed.
You might look at one or several of the default sidebox tpl's for guidance....
