    Default Edit your files.......

Call me dumb. No biggie. When it comes to 'computer' code.

For some dumb azz reason I used the default MS notepad to edit some code.

It just put me through a loop. I knew the code was correct, as I study the forums, prior.

It took me seven hours to 'see' four blank spaces that made the site 404.

Use the correct editor.! I use, now... HTML Beauty...... sorry for my ignorance.
    Good luck and Best Wishes.

HTML editors are not the best to use for php files. A text editor is a much better choice. Notepad will work. I use it, although most will recommend Notepad++ or Crimson Editor.
