Hi all
I am new at the forum and this is my first post. And I get here already needing help from you.
I am trying to customize a friend's store, but I must confess that I am not been able to set the store layout as requested by my friend.
she wants a layout that be in the style of the url bellow.

Note that in this URl there is an image that fits itself in the header image, and thus completing the design.
I tried to put this image as background image in the body, but it came out not aligned with the mainWrapper and with header_bg.
Please, could anyone help me coaching me on what to do so this image becomes aligned to the store header and body?
In which place on the template or in css should I include this image?
If I include it as bg in the mainWrapper, the body of the store goes along and it becomes non-aligned.
Did I make myself clear about the help that I need?
Please, can anyone helpme?
I am using zen cart latest version.

Put up your site's address so we can make some comparisons.
Your example site makes good use of a background image and the header image.
Why don't you inspect their stylesheets?
If you use FireFox browser with the FF Web Developer Toolkit add-on, you will soon see how they achieve this look.20 years a Zencart User

thank you for your reply.
I will post bellow the url where we are setting up the layout as we cannot stop the original store to make the chang unless everything is already ready.

the issue of colors still has to be fixed, but my major problem now is to be able to place the header image aligned to bg image.
Inspect their stylesheets? How could I do that?
I looked only the code source and there is no mention to the image they use for background there.
I opened the page in the Dreamweaver and went on eliminating images until only the bg image were left and the source code state only this:
"</head><body id="indexHomeBody">
</body></html>"

Okay... forget about dreamweaver for the next few weeks... It cannot help you get your ZC together right now.
Do as I suggest...
Get and install the latest FireFox browser:
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/firefox/
Then, from the same site, get the Web Developer Toolkit add-on
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60
While you're about it, get colorzilla addon too. It helps establish hex color codes - useful for determining css declarations for color.
Then, spend an hour or two playing around with web developer...20 years a Zencart User
