product_listing.php goes in your /includes/modules/custom/ folder, not /includes/templates/custom/.
Otherwise, it sounds correct.
The faulty output I see could be a result of the mod's product_listing.php not being found in the right location.

Eureka. Thanks very much. I checked it against the instructions file after reading your post and I cant believe I missed it. I must have read it 6 times. It just goes to show that after 12 hours of looking at the monitor, a fresh pair of eyes with a lot of experience can sort things out. Right, off to look for another post about spacing the products out. Thanks for all your help.
The site's looking really nice! Very professional, clean, stylish... You're doing a great job!
If you want to find a quick way to create a full set of custom hyperlink buttons, then look at:

Thanks very much. The link you provided is great. Makes things a lot easier. It only took me about 2 hrs to find out where to put the bg image in the ezpagesnav. LOL. Lesson learned.
Is there a way in the admin or other WAY to dictate the order of the product layout in the Column Layout Grid Mod. Here is the link to the page: http://mirrors4home.co.uk/index.php?...=index&cPath=2
You can see that the price of the product is to the right of the image and I would like it below the image. What I would actually like is;
TITLE
IMAGE
PRICE
DESCRIPTION
MORE INFO
What do you think?
I'm just wondering if all that extra data is necessary at this display level.
We have a column layout on one of our sites, and have:
IMAGE
TITLE
PRICE
ADD TO CART
http://www.edutrade.co.uk/index.php?...ex&cPath=98_99
(Whether you display these bits of data or not depends on your settings in configuration>>>Product Listing ...
... By giving the components a numerical value exceeding "1", you get them to display - "0" renders display inactive. Also, if you increment the numerical value, you can change the sort order, which is what you asked above).
In "product Listings" i set;
Page Name - 1
Product Image - 2
Display Product Listing Default Sort Order - 3
As you will see the I can not get the price to drop under the image. Any ideas?
i am using v1.3.9d
i wish to display my products in a grid/clumn format instead of rows.
i downloaded unzipped the add on i for v1.3.8 and followed the instructions best way i can...
