help question SSL Enabled but need to oredirest to https

    Hi,

I am new to Zen Cart but by studying tutorials I was able to enable SSL on my site, now I want to make few links to automatically redirect to https://

For example for my account, my cart, checkout etc.. for these kind of secured pages I need the url to change to https:// automatically from http://

Can any help me out with a procedure to do this?
Any kind of suggestions will be duly appreciated...

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

If your ssl is enabled does the zencart directory have to be in the https directory to work? article 14 doesn't address that. also, if a zencart page, such as the shopping cart, is an https url, will all <a href> links also be https://*** automatically?

    my cart http://kistnersupply.com/zencart2/ or https://kistnersupply.com/zencart2/i..._cart&sort=20a

the main content of my site is NOT in the zencart dir. we only use it for ecommerce.

I have a similar question: I noticed that when SSL is enabled, if I go to a link such as "checkout", zencart automatically gives the https url, which is fine.
However, if the user then erases the "s" of the https (remaining in http) but leaves the url otherwise the same, and then click enter, zencart then serves the same page through http. How can I tell zencart that these modules should only be served through https, even if the user explicitly typed http?

It may seem strange that I should care, but my creadit card company demands this.

    Thanks,
