Getting an Error, I'm sure its very basic

Help! I've just finished installing Zc and when I type www.mystore.com/catalog into the url bar all i get is this screen.

To be honest I"m new to this and i"m unsure of the next step; but even though, I feel like i've messed something up.

What url is this supposed to be? A link to where your site should be loading?

Assuming everything uploaded properly, your next step would be to click where it says, 'Click Here' to begin installation.

Re: Getting an Error, I'm sure its very basic

The thing is, I've already installed Zc.

I basically don't know what steps are needed next in order to start editing it. I've referenced from this post: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36131

I'm assuming I type www.mydomain.com/catalog/admin to access and edit my shopping cart but that is the screen that I get. I'm new to this and I'm confused.

How can you state that you installed it but that there is nothing there???
If installed and correctly, there will be at a minimum an empty shell with the classic template being displayed.

Trying to access the domain you posted yields a "Cannot be found" error message

Do you really have a domain that is web accessible?
As Zen Cart is installed from the web, to install as you state you have done, it must be....
And where would this be?

Just checked whois for and this is the response
"Domain name is not currently registered."

http://www.whois.net/dnr/index.php?d=srubbletees&tld=com

You do not even own this domain name so how could you have installed it there???

Hey Kobra...

I heard that you service cars. Please can I book mine in for a service?

PS: later on I'll tell you that I haven't bought the car yet and don't know which car I want anyway...

:D

Going there it states very plainly:
If you are the owner of this web site you have not uploaded (or incorrectly uploaded) your web site. For information on uploading your web site using FTP client software or web design software, click here for FTP Upload Information.

So you apparently have not installed Zen Cart there....

Re: Getting an Error, I'm sure its very basic

To add to Scrubbles sorrows, I see that this is a GoDaddy installation.

Sorry to have to tell you this, but you have chosen probably the worst host possible for a zencart installation. You may potentially have a lifetime of headaches ahead of you...

If you can escape from this situation, do so, and host your site with a host that knows ZC. Look at the Certified Hosts (link above).
