Product list view sorting problems, none working

Hi Linda,
Well I tried the price_sorter update, and it indeed updated all the prices in that field for all the products. I verified via phpMyAdmin. Unfortunately the price sorting from my website still doesn't work. What can we look at now?

Hi Linda,
I did some more testing and here is what I found.

If I go to my new products page and use the drop down list box to select price sorting, it works.

If I go to product list view and click on the the price column title to do the sort, it doesn't work.

Whats going on? Category related or something?

Jumping in here...

This sorting issue is not related to the SEO urls... The mod is USEO and we have verified the admin >> product list sorting is functioning properly in over 10 stores using the same seo urls.

I would think** this would rather be related to an admin mod.

Anyhow, here is a screenshot with it working properly.

If ebaobao likes I can make a temp admin account and he can see for himself.

Thanks for the reply. Just to be clear, the problem with sorting is on the website and not sorting from Admin. Initially the sorting on both new products page and products list view page didn't work. But after using what Linda proposed about updating the price_sorter field for all the products, the new products page drop down list sorting works. However, the products list view page sorting still doesn't work.

When you mouse over the price column in the products list view page, the url is a seo url with 2 parameters being passed (sort and page). Hopefully the seo url is going to the same page as if seo url was not installed (I believe this is the case, but not sure).

What else can I look at?
