Show available stock level when less than order

Hi,

The option in Zen Cart which shows available stock level in cart when less than order has, umm... broken.
The value is set to "true" in Admin>Configuration>Stock but the stock quantity isn't showing up in the cart at checkout.

It was working up until yesterday when we carried out quite a few updates but I cannot for the life of me figure out why it should stop working?

Does anyone know where I should start looking to figure out what's wrong?

Did any of your updates affect the shopping cart class or template?

Not as far as I'm aware, definitely no changes were made to the stylesheet. As for the shopping cart template, I reverted back to an old version to make sure I hadn't edited out any code etc but it didn't make any difference... still no stock numbers showing up in red as they were before. I'm totally stumped!

If not the template, what about the shopping cart task, from which the message is generated? What was the nature of the updates you made?

This has now been resolved. For anyone experiencing a similar problem, the fault was caused by tpl_shopping_cart_default.php and the fact that I'm using the stock by attributes add-on which uses a modified version of tpl_shopping_cart_default.php. I must've replaced the stock by attributes version of tpl_shopping_cart_default.php with the one supplied with zen cart during an update which was what caused the problem.
