Word makes really, ugly and junk code... Ideally, copy and paste the text in to notepad (not wordpad), then recopy and paste the cleansed text in to your html editor and style it as you wish.

Take note of Melanie's advice. If you want customers to have access to a word document, then save the document as a MS word file, FTP it to a folder on your server, then, in the EZpages, insert a hyperlink to that document, making sure that you include target="_blank" in the <a href ....> tag.

If you want to use HTML code that you compile in an external editor, that you later "strip into" an EZpage, then grab one of the many free html editors available, to help you generate that raw code.

NEVER use html that MSword compiles... it is absolute rubbish.

If you replace the default HTMLarea editor with FCKeditor 2.6.? it has a Word Document Scrubber that will attempt to correct words crappy attempt at creating html files.

See the paste icon below with the "W" on it.

I am not affiliated with iChoze or FCKeditor, it's just the tool that I use every day on dozens of sites.

You can get FCKeditor 2.6 here:

If you would prefer to install FCK Editor on your zencart admin (rather that use the current default HTMLArea), there is a module in the Free Add-ons section of this site (link above).

I understand that FCK is to replace HTMLArea as the default editor, in ZC 2.0
