Default What a Nightmare. PLEASE help.

im using Paypal Express checkout and cant figure out for the life of me why only about 50% of my orders are transfering over to Paypal WITH the order info.

Meaning usually I just go into Paypal and print the shipping labels and can see what the people ordered. Well on about half there is no order info at all.

So I go back into my Zen Admin, view stuck orders, sure enough, its always there but even in there it does NOT say what they ordered at all. Just the same info that Paypal is getting. Usually missing an address.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Im spending all day emailing people asking them what they ordered which obviously does not look very good.

If you're using Express Checkout, then turn off the IPN/Standard module, since that's the one that's allowing the "stuck" orders problem, due to communications problems between the PayPal server and your server.

    Ok, did that. Thank you.

Will that somehow fix my situation and all orders should transfer over seemlessly now?

That will stop the orders that can't complete properly due to your communications problem between PayPal servers and your server. That's all. It won't fix the communication problems though.

So essentially id be LOSING the orders completely rather than having to just email them and confirm what they ordered??

    Hi

I had that problem with PayPal: I'd get payments but no orders were recorded so I'd have to email people to find out what they ordered. I ended up changing hosts and I don't have that problem anymore (websitesource to hostgator).

But I had considered using the "Paypal Sessions Viewer" addon.

I haven't tried it, but maybe it can help you if you keep having problems.
