Hi Skip,

Yes if the fields are left blank the errors occur. Also if I leave the email address blank and fill in the name field I get the email error.

The only mod I'm using is the manufacturer's image mod.

Is their a way I can enable debugging so I can trace the sql insert line? What is the page name that inserts the name and email address of the contestants?

Also the "contest end page" displays despite an active contest running. But this is a minor problem because I can simply edit the end page to reflect an ongoing contest.

Hi Skip,

I got everything working. Problem was I had the contest start date set to 11/01/10 yet the contest page was still active but posting will not occur. Also since the side box was active yet contest was out of date range the contest page appears active and the "end of contest" page is displayed prior. Since the contest page loads it implys the contest is active when it is not.

Hi Skip,

Also to avoid spam entries I would like to enable only registered users which I see is possible. However I would like to display the prize as a teaser then once they try to post at that point they are flagged to register. Currently as soon as they hit the "contest link" they are flagged to register with no indication of what the prize is.

One more request if possible:). I can send in a donation if necessary. Any way to include the picture of the contest item in the side box, that would be a great teaser...

Skip How much to add the Contest picture to the sidebox?. If this is possible then no need to modify contest page to include contest picture when allow guest is set to false..

This sidebox file will show the prize image with a link if the contest is active.

Unzip this tpl_contest_sidebox.zip and replace your /includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/sideboxes/tpl_contest_sidebox.php with this new file.

I got another competition going but when it ends the same problem will happen again...with the entry form underneath the "Contest Closed" how can this be fixed?

I am having this same problem.... the contest ended yesterday, and today it displays "contest closed", but with the entry form underneath.

I uninstalled all the files, then re-installed them, and still no luck.

Any Ideas??

View my website you can see its still got the option to enter even when the competition is closed.

In the admin when i update for a new competition, its not updating the storefront because its stating the last time it was updated was mm/dd/2036 so its not updating the contest due to it thinking we are in year 2036 not 2010. Same thing happens on both my stores.

I have just noticed, I too am having this same problem.. it is displaying 2036.

I have tried removing the files, and re-installing them. And still no change. Any Ideas?
