    Default Question On stylesheet.css

I am using version 1.3.8.a and use the default classic template that is provided.

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what line(s) support the text color of the cart for the header and the subtotal.

I see the option where to change the background colors but cannot seem to figure out the place where the text colors can be altered. I am trying to be careful with this because I want to change them to white, so if it connected with another position of text within the website.

I do not want to change it and find out that it changed another area of text that is on the white background. I appreciate everyone's help.

the best way of working with stylesheet , is to install firebug extension for Firefox browser , this tool allows you to see everything about your styling and you can modify cached copy of your page and see the effect before committing the change to your style

Thank you for the reply. I am so old school when it comes to editing tools. I am using Dreamweaver MX for editing so I will look into the FireFox plug in. As I look at the css I notice that most of the text is linked to each other so editing it the way you want is somewhat limited unless you want to re-code the template. But I can live with it the way it is if it cannot be altered without negatively affecting linked text areas.

with firebug tools , all you have to do is go to the page that you want to change style on with your browser , click on inspect and hover your mouse on the any location .. you should be prompted with information about style such as ID or class and any value set for including line number in your CSS .. is pretty easy to visually inspect CSS on your page and find the relevant calsses or tags that style your page .

if you are not comfortable with firebug , you can also , navigate to the page you want to style with your browser, and then save the source code ( view source ) in your zencart site that you created with in dreamweaver ,

open the new page and you should be able to see the class's ID's etc , and style them using dreamweaver stylesheet editor..

im not sure about DW mx and how it works , but im using latest version and started to toy around with this method for styling my pages visually .
