Template version compatibility

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.8a

I want to use Red Passion template. But on the downloads page it says 1.3.7

Will this template not work with my Zen cart version?

I have looked up the whole documentation and couldnt find an answer.

I installed this template and it is not showing the images. It shows everything that is in CSS, but no images are called.

It would be a great help since I am new to the world of Zen

Did you transfer the images that are included in the template?
Are the "images" showing as red x's?

A link to your site would help.

It should work with 1.3.8. I was going to refer you to that template's support thread, but there doesn't seem to be one.

If you post a link to your site, we my be able to figure out the problem.

If I remember correctly, Red Passion, though claiming to be for a later version of Zen Cart is actually base don one of the very first of the 1.3.x sequence, possibly 1.3.0.1.

You can tell from the "Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional" link bottom left. That was removed very early from the standard Zen Cart templates.

I have uploaded all the images as per instructions with the template.

I deleted the template entirely and re installed it.

It is working fine now.
