Need help with Manufacturer SideBox

I hope this is an easily answered question ~ however, I have searched and cannot find the solution.

I want to change the manufacturer sidebox to just list the manufactures without the dropdown format. I would also like to add a small banner under each designer's name.

I have changed the header title to read designers and you can view it here:

www.deannasdreams.com/store

I am using 1.3.7.

To display without the dropdown format, go to Admin>Configuration>Maximum Values>Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style
A 0 or 1 there sets the style as dropdown.

To add a banner, you'll need to do some code modifications to includes/modules/sideboxes/manufacturers.php and/or
includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_manufacturers_select.php, remembering to save modified files in override folders.

The mod worked perfectly and I am a happy camper!

I haven't yet tried to input the images, but just getting rid of the scroll/dorpdown option is the improvement I was looking for!
