advice needed re different group pricings

Hi everyone!

I am hoping that someone can give me some advice. I have 3 different customer groups.. retail, consultants and wholesalers. All of which have different pricing percentages.

We have been running our store quite well using the Customer groups section however it is getting a little much work admin wise to be fixing up any extra issues that come about with the groups (for example we like to give them an extra 5% off if they reach a certain $$ order value, free postage over $500.. that kind of thing).

I am beginning to think that the easiest way to target all groups would be to create 2 new websites for Consultants and wholesalers. My only issue with that is running 3 different Admins all selling the same products! I don't want to have to update all 3 sites to reflect things like stock totals etc.

Is it possible to link multiple store fronts to the same Admin? If not can you suggest an new option for out problem?
