Main Page Layout with Categories AND Define Pages

I have my Categories displayed as pictures on my main page. All's good. I want to now include the DefineMainPageText above the Category Pictures. I have tried variations of the Admin switches, but I can either have the Cat. pics. or the text, but not both. Is their a solution...I expect there...please help! Also, When the Cat pics are displayed it also displays the header text "Categories" which I would like to change to "Product Lines". HELP ANYONE?!

Admin>>>Configuration>>>Layout Settings:

Categories - Always Show on Main Page (set to 1).

Use DEVELOPERS TOOK KIT

Admin>>>Tools>>>Developers Tool Kit

... to find instances of the constant "Categories" in your Catalog files.

(Use the last input field).

This will return a list of results of php files where the word "Categories" appears. These are likely to all be LANGUAGES files.

Simply FTP these files to your local machine, and edit them in a Plain Text Editor (such as Crimson Editor). Then save them on your local machine. After saving them, FTP them back to the server to your relevant CUSTOM folder.
