Background Image Alignment (Mozilla and IE)

I have an background image on the top of my site which is 52 pixels high and 918 pixels wide. I tried my best to center it but for some reason the image is shifted a little to the left in Mozilla and a little to the right in Internet Explorer. How can I make it appear evenly in both? Is this a bug or and error in my coding.
