Problems with layout when adding new products

That dark gray box is where the productMusic media manager wants to display. I think you need to do something about that product...

P.S. - You said "it's in my dvd folder"; there is no reason for you to be using that subfolder, or any subfolder below /images/, unless you need to organize a lot of images and having them all in one folder is confusing. (THis does not include /medium/ and /large/ - you need them in any case.)
The tutorial mentions the dvd folder, so I think a lot of people follow it blindly. It should mention that that is optional.

You know what?! I never noticed it before, but I was poking around trying to figure this out, and that WHOLE category had somehow been created as music! I deleted and recreated the category and all of the products and it's fine now! Thank you! I'll need to double check now and make sure that there isn't any others doing that!

Speaking of the folders....I guess I'm not sure what I'm doing there either, because I don't have or use any medium and large folders

I have the dvd folder where I put additional product images and it then automatically links it to the corresponding product page. The picture size increases are all done through the IH and Admin panel. It works for me so I'm not going to mess with it

If you have IH2, then that is taking care of the medium and large images for you. (Actually, you loaded the large image there and it takes care of the medium and small...)
