Price by number of attributes selected...

I'm in the early stages of building a site for a silk screen print company specializing in shirts and one of the attributes for customers to select is ink color(s). There needs to be an added charge for each additional ink color added after the first. Can Zen Cart do this and what is the best way to set it up?

if i understood correctly , base price will include colour that customer can select and if customer wants additional colours they have to pay extra ?

assuming that customer can select only one colour from list of colours . you can create one attribute for base colour that is already part of the price ..

and second attribute colour that has a list of colour options that customer can select with added price modifier .

if you want to allow customer to select more then one Optional colours , you can offer the second attribute in form of Check boxes .

with price modifier , zen cart can add the extra charges to the base price .

Thanks Tony. That makes sense and I've changed up my attributes to do just that. In a related question, is there a way to have my quantity discount apply not just to the base price of the item, but to the attributes as well? Currently it is making the discount and THEN adding the price of additional ink colors and I need the percentages to work on the attribute price as well.
