Changing default setting on Customer Product Notification

Hi,

I would like to change the default setting of the Customer Product Notification Status after a purchase to 'not ticked'. I just found how to turn the feature on/off completely, but nowhere to change ticked/not ticked. Any help?

make sure you place the folder in your_template after you edit the core file

includes/ templates/ template_default/ template/ tpl_checkout_success_default.php

1. set the value true to false in the relevant section.
2. this will give default unchecked

I can't get the product notification box to work, can a customer select to be notified when a product arrives?
