running Zen Cart 1.3.8a

I have searched and searched for hours. I have found many anwsers but still lacking a few for now.

1.The main logo. How do I make it full size its a 700x100px logo. I made the right columns 0px but nothing shifted over.

2. The main part of zen I would like black as well instead of white. Going with a black red and white theme.

3. On the Categories column.. how do I make Categories say something like choose your vehicle.

4. The links at the very top header home and login. How do I add more links. Such as forums... photos... tech info etc.

Right now my main concern is getting everything in the background BLACK.

also when I click on a categories and it expands the sub-categories, how do I get it to show sub categories in the main area as well.

Most of your start up issues are answered in the Turtorials/FAQ section (link up top of this page). I see you figured out how to get the background black.

As for the categories, check the Free Software Add Ons (also link up top) and search for "expanded". The first result is what you're looking for I think.

And your logo is currently only 65 x 500 pixels. If you want it larger, you'll have to make it so in an image editing program.

The logo is bigger but not expanding in zen cart... yes the background is black but Im wanting zen cart black as well. EVERYTHING black if that makes sense.

I downloaded it a few hours ago (just dragged it out of my browser) and it was 65 x 500 pixels, as I said.

I see you've now got one that is 91 x 700.

Maybe you've got an image handler type of program that is making these other sizes because it thinks it is being instructed to? Just guessing.

Ya I realized when I uploaded a logo that it would rename it to like logo_1.

But still stumped on how to get everything black

so I got some of the background black.. but the border around the logo center area, the left nav area, bottom is white. I want it all black,

For the main page I just used the define_main.php or whatever it was and added a small background html code. Anyway to put it in the stylesheet to apply to all pages
