Multiple carts in one site saved as projects

Hello,
I'm very new to Zen Cart but i've been totally engrossed for the past 3 days. I am developing a music licensing site intended for film and TV producers to find and download music for their productions.

I want the client to be able to set up an account and then have multiple open carts, or "projects" inside the account that he can come back to.

for instance, let's say a music supervisor is working on three TV shows at the same time. I want him to be able to easily create one cart or "project" for each of those shows, search for the music he wants, download temp files for him to test and edit within the shows, then return to his projects to add or subtract music, and finally purchase a license to use the files for broadcast, and receive permission to download higher quality files.

so the main question is, can i have more than one cart within a single customer's account?


I hope this is not to wordy or complicated of a question. I would greatly appreciate any advice that you more experienced users can provide. I'd be happy to supply more details if anyone needs more information.

While Zen Cart can save a cart that can be edited and saved again for later check out, multiple carts is not part of the stock program. That being said almost anything is possible if you find the right programmer.

Thanks Kim, that's what I thought.
I'm not a programmer (obviously) , but it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult for someone who knows what they are doing.
maybe i'll save it for the second Phase.
