Express Checkout - subscribe to newsletter

I was wandering if there is a possibility of adding a subscribe to newsletter checkbox to the confirmation screen only when the customer returns from paypal.

I dont want the checkbox to be there when the user goes through the normal checkout where they have to create an account. (since they will have this option when they create their account)

I suggest adding the newsletter subscribe mod. Then tweaking it to have it appear only on the checkout success page - there's a FAQ entry that explains how to do this for a sidebox.
