Install Problem: Page not found after accepting licance

Latest version (v1.3.8a), after copying all files to localhost/catalog, I run http://localhost/catalog/zc_install
and get to where I accept the licence.

The URL changes to
http://localhost/catalog/zc_install/...n_page=license

but the browser returns
The URL you asked for does not exist on this website

I did rename the dist-configs as instructed.

What gives?

Are you installing ZC on your home machine, or on an existing domain (website) hosted elsewhere?

Home machine, WinXP SP 3, Xitami web-server.

Many thanks - I gave up on my home computer - seems to be a Xitami problem - on my production server it seems to work ok.

I'll dump Xitami eventually.
