Default Flate Rate Zone Shipping & Google Checkout

After Setting Up Zone Rates For Flat Rate Shipping, I started encountering the following popup when trying to checkout with Google Checkout:
"This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Microsoft Agent Control from Microsoft Coporation' "

There is also a warning box that pops up from my browser stating this could be a security risk.
It is scaring my customers off!

Anyone know how to get rid of this?

When using just flat rate instead (1 flate rate for all), and deactivitating zones, it works fine

As it is now, it works perfectly with PayPal

    I am using v1.3.8a & the website is www.AllClaveParts.com

Would really appreciate any and all help

    Thx

    Wally

Warning box is on Google's site not yours?..Suggest you contact them...explain...Only use googlecheckout myself for digital downloads so shipping does not have to be configured..
am also assuming you do have SSL cert that is accepted
    by Google..not all are..

Yes Misty, the warning appears to be on the Google side. In the Google forum I posted to, there was another complaint attached to mine with the exact same problem from someone using OS Commerce.

I have contacted Google, but still no response.

And yes, the SSL cert is one Google has been using with me all along. Apparently it is only showing up on Inernet Explorer (which represents about 75% of my traffic).

When a transaction does go through by someone who realizes the agent control is not hazardous, everything goes through like it is supposed to.

The sequence of events was upgrading to 1.38a and then changing from one flat rate shipping everywhere to flat rate zone shipping ..... and that is when the problem started.

I don't know if it could have anything to do with it or not, but I have not integrated 1.38a to process orders from GCO to the admin section of my site (I just get a purchase receipt email from Google telling me to process the order.

I really appreciate your taking the time to respond.

    Thx again

    Wally

I am happy to report, the problem is not with Zen Cart.

As it turns out, this problem is on the Google Side of things. I am sad to say, there is nothing we can do about it.

There apparently is a conflict, or a bug, in the Google Analytics Java Script whenever GCO is used as a payment option

This affects everyone, including stores like Tiger Direct & Toys R Us and even Starbucks.

What I am being told, is the only way around the issue is to not use Google Checkout until they have resolved the problem. And a resolution is not likely forthcoming

The only conclusion one can draw is GCO has not made this a priority, despite the larger stores having the same problems. This has been going on for a month now with no end in site. With all the intellect at Google, the remedy should be in minutes, not months.

But here again, although the problem is with virtually everyone who uses GCO on their site, I started the first thread on the Google Forum and there have only been 2 additional posts.

So, maybe if you check your site, and find you have the same issue, you can add a post to their forum as well. Maybe when they see it as a growing problem they will acutally do something about it.

I see sales on a daily basis, simply disappear, and I can guarantee everone else is as well.

Like so many others, I really like GCO. Its a shame they don't like us back.
