Can I put a URL link into the product similar to a download button that shows up after the user buys the product.

As part of our download strategy we use a download manager that is installed by the user. When this is installed, it gets the information on the products to be downloaded from an XML file represented by a link on a site or in the shopping cart. The user clicks on the link, the XML file updates the download manager and our DRM licensing system.
