How to run a script upon purchase?

Hi,

I sell software that requires personalized licenses and am looking to incorporate the following functionality. Upon a successful purchase (all through PayPal for the time being) I would like to automatically run a script--the license key generator. Basically, after payment was received I need to execute some custom PHP code that needs to have access to the order details.

FWIW I know PHP and mySQL, the problem is that I can't figure out where to hook this into the Zen Cart code. This has to be possible since ZC changes the order status to [Processing] and sends out an admin email upon payment, but I can't figure out where that happens either.

Thanks so much, that appears to be what I'm looking for. In all honesty I came across that thread during my search but I somehow missed how that applied to my problem the first time around.
