    Default >? confusion

On the top of all of my pages I have a >?. I was told before that it may be the code on one of my pages is wrong. I shecked all of my pages that I can remember or have a record of changing, yet I cannot get this to go away and it is really confusing me! Does anyone have any suggestions on this by any chance???

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions that you have.

P.S. my site is www.tartsnmore.com and I have zencart 1.3.8

It'll be something you've left on one of your files after editing.

Many PHP code sections end with ?> but you're quoting >? which suggests somewhere maybe you've made a typo or something?

Fastest way to find it is to compare all original files against your current files, and then compare all your customizations against originals as well, using a text compare utility like WinMerge. Related FAQ: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues

When iIclicked on Grubby/Primitive the site does to a blank page.

If you run the debug utility - you can find the file that is causing hte blank page and fix it.

Ok I have copied all of my files from my server to my computer and I went through them all looking for >? using the find feature on Notepad++ and I found nothing.

Also, I ran all of my files through winmerge and I got a bunch of jibberish, Maybe I did something wrong there but I am not sure yet.

I then ran the debugging utility on the two pages that come up blank and this is the error I received:

[08-Feb-2009 10:04:27] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home6/tartsnmo/public_html/includes/languages/english/index.php:57) in /home6/tartsnmo/public_html/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 44

I am not really sure what to do about this, but I will continue to research this now.

So I am still really confused about the >? being at the top of all of my pages. Are there any other suggestions at this point. Thank you for all of the help you have provided so far, I am off to do more research!

    Sincerely,
    Shannon

Ok I figured out my problem! When I went through the two files that were identified in the error log I found that one of the files had ?> the a blank line and then ?> again.

When I took out the second ?> it took both the >? off of the top of my page and it let all of my categories show up!!!

Thank you so much to all of you who have helped me, I sincerely appreciate it!
