How to edit content of sideboxes?

Can someone tell me how to remove the zencart logo from the bottom of a sidebox as well as editing the content of the sidebox.

The Zen-Cart logo in a sidebox is probably the banner advert. You can either turn off this banner using banner manager, or just turn off the sidebox by using Tools >> Layout Boxes Controller.

Which sidebox do you want to edit? Each one is different, and each one is controlled or programmed in a completely different way.

It is the sponsors box right hand side that has also the zencart logo in it.

The sponsors box is the Banner Sidebox, just with Sponsors as the caption. This caption is in the english.php file, and the logos are chosen from the Banner Manager in the admin.

OK tried to get rid of the zencart banner and replace it with a google banner and now I am worse off as it comes up with this message:
Banner image required.

What I am trying to do is have no banner at all after playing with it for hours I am frustrated by going around in circles.

Finally worked it out as I had to delete banners in order to get ride of the zencart logo.

Or you could just turn off the banner box in the Layout Box Controller. If you're not using boxes, you should turn them off, so as to reduce the number of database queries your site runs, and so speed up the site for your users.
