Auction Product Type installation problems

Hi ! I've just installed the last version of ZenCart (1.38 a) and the installation was correct, I can see the site and have no warnings.

Haven't edited it at all but just wanted to install the auction_product_type_-99a .

How does it work ? I uploaded both directories "admin" and "includes" to my server, also the cron file and then run "zen_auctions.sql" from my server admin pannel. I didn't run the other two .sql

The problem is that after I did that everything was gone ! Both the site and the admin part ... so I just uploaded the orignal back again and now everything is there again but I don't know how to make auction to work ...
I thought I could just upload it since I hadn't make changes to my zencart shop that is fresh installed ..

So, could anyone tell me how to install auction_product_type in a correct way on a new zencart site ?
I didn't get that from the "instal.txt" that is joined to the auction module.

Any help would be appreciated !

I am also having trouble getting this mod to work. Has anybody been able to get it working properly and if so, are you willing to provide assistance to those of us who can't to get it to cooperate?
I have Zen-Cart version 1.3.7.1 and I have tried Auction mod's: 0.95 and 0.99a . The most I can get is the "Auction Manager" shows up on the "Configuration" menu but when a product is entered there is no way to enter the auction details. It just shows up like any ordinary product in another category. Plus I don't see any added Auction links or places to place a bid or anything. I'm beginning to think this mod is more trouble than it's worth. Searching the forum, there are numerous problems listed with very few solutions that seem to work for anybody. I have not seen any actual working examples of this mod implemented anywhere. Anybody have any clues, pointers or want to help get this working? If this mod would work it would be a good addition to the Zen-Cart but so far it appears to be a no-go.http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/images.../dontgetit.gif
