    Default Canada Post and SSL = Error 110 Connection Time Out

    Hello,
    I have installed my CP Shipping module, which was working fine, until it seems, I installed my SSL layer.

    The SSL is working, however, I am getting a error 110 Connection Has Timed Out, now when trying to determine shipping price.

    I changed my
    includes/configure.php
    and
    admin/includes/configure.php
    to set the SSL to true, but that was it.

    Any thoughts?
    The sellonline.canadapost.ca connects via port 30000 which is open, do I need to do anything else to connect with the SSL checkout?

    Any thoughts to what I might check? I looked through the manual and the site, but don't see any similar issues.

    Default Canada Post Error 110

    Hello,
    I have installed my CP Shipping module, which I thought was working fine, however I checked it after installing the SSL and am getting error 110 'server not found' while trying to checkout.

    I changed my
    includes/configure.php
    and
    admin/includes/configure.php
    to set the SSL to true, but that was it.

    I have tried going back to SSL=false, but the problem remains, leaving me to think the problem is elsewhere and not the SSL. Is it possible for installing the SSL to mess up the canada post module?

    Any thoughts?

    I am hosting with siteground, whom tell me the port is open. I have a new support ticket in hoping the port was closed for some reason.

    They are relativelty slow to respond and the timings for the port need to be changed....
    Can only be done by your host

    Thank-you for your answer, The port was open and the quotes working until recently, so unless the port was closed for some reason (possible?) it shouldn't be that.

    As I've tried everything else that I can think of, I'm hoping this is the case.

    I assume you mean the host, rather than CP?

    When your host checks have them also check that it is open for bi-directional communucation - both outbound and inbound
