    Default Two Attributes per Item

my site sells contact lenses and customers should buy 2 lenses of different powers for 1 pair.

currently the site is setup to check out one lens at a time BUT lots of customers are forget to buy 2 so I'm hoping I can either

    1. bundle two products as one sku

    or

    2. two attributes per item/pair (one for right lens power and the other for left lens power)

and ofcourse I still need to maintain stock by attributes in that case.

    Any recommendations?

You have to set up attributes so that purchasers are forced to choose both selections before proceeding to checkout.

Default Attribute (Should be used especially on Radio buttons, or if you have an attribute you prefer the customer selects.)

You need an option name "Right lens" and one for "Left lens". Each of those will have a set of option values for the powers, and a value "Select". In Attributes Controller, add all of the desired option values to the product, and add "Select" with settings of "default" and "display only".

Then each lens must be actively chosen before the product can be added to cart.
