    Default Add a checkout process

I am making a website for balloon delivery. I need the clients to be able to pick which balloon they want us to include in the delivery and what colors to go with that balloon in the bouquet. The best way i can think is to have a extra checkout process or add it as a attribute. The problem is with attributes is we have over 200 Mylar balloons and 20 colors of latex. To have that many attributes would not look good at all! I either need to find a way to organize the attributes so it hows categories to organize the attribute or have a separate page in the checkout where they chose it after they chose the size of balloons. The problem is i cant find a way to do either. What is the best solution and where can i go to learn how it is done?

it is a balloon website that they can purchase balloon bouquets! The bouquets consist of 1-5 mylar balloon and 2-12 latex balloons. The Mylar balloons are the metallic balloons that have designs on them. the latex are your typical balloon like a water balloon but larger. We have over 200 different mylars that they can choose from in the bouquets. they are different categories like birthday, get well, anniversary, love, over the hill... ect. the latex are same size but different colors (red, blue, yellow, ect) there are about 10-15 colors. when someone checks out they have to pick what mylars they want and what colors of latex balloons to go along with it.

Don't you have standard bouquets? As in mylar - 1 large center with 5 small around it or something like that?

Yes there are 5 different sizes. 1 mylar, 4 latex - 2 mylar 8 latex - 4 mylar, 8 latex - 4 mylar 16 latex - and 8 mylar 16 Latex! They choose the size of bouquet then the Mylars they want, then the latex colors. then check out

With what little I know I suggest that you create categories for your types i.e.
birthday, get well, anniversary, love, over the hill, etc

In these cats you have the following bouquets as products that are priced by attributes

    1 mylar, 4 latex
    2 mylar, 8 latex
    4 mylar, 8 latex
    4 mylar, 16 latex
    8 mylar, 16 latex

For each of the above in their respective cats you have attributes for:

    size
    small - - some $
    medium - - some $
    large - - some $

    design
    color

If the latex color can be combinations for different colors I suggest you have GOOD instructions and provide through attributes a text entry box where the colors can be specified.

Now you will have 1 to 20 or 30 designs per type i.e. 30 birthday design selections

Only glitch will be if you do not have all designs for all sizes in any particular category
