Getting rid of Obsolete Titles on Internal Pages

I seem to have the main title, "Products" on a lot of my internal pages.... for example:

main page: www.dystynction.com



unsubscribe newsletter: http://www.dystynction.com/index.php...ge=unsubscribe



and many others.

Does anyone know what language file is generating this "products" title word as I'd really like to delete it.... It's populating about 15 of my pages and I don't need it....

You've probably edited one of your language files that contains a define() for HEADING_TITLE (and/or NAVBAR_TITLE) to have it defined to 'Products' and stuck it in the extra_definitions folder or something, and thus it's loading the same text on every page instead of allowing the normal page-specific content to load.

Looks like your free template is dropping in a strange HEADING_TITLE when it's not supposed to. Does this change when you switch to classic?

Yikes, that sounds like it could be hard to pin down the culprit?

From page source is says, <h1 id="unsubDefaultHeading">Products</h1> is generating this "products" text....

Does this give you any clues? It doesn't for me but I'm a newbie... perhaps a pro like you might know where to look?

Yes, you're right. When I switch to classic it disappears.

ahhhhhh, we may be onto something, I did install this filter mod and my template's been doing all sorts of weird and wonderful things ever since... It's got too many bugs for me, but I never removed the mod, just switched it off in admin...

any ideas how to remove it?

OK, so i just removed all files installed by the product filter mod. however, still hasn't cured this annoying header problem... anyone know what language file could be generating this generic title?

stevesh, you're a star! you were dead right, it was this horrible product filter that was causing it.... I deleted the define from 'products' to '' and it's gone... must have been a cache first try...
