i have using zencart in my PHP 5, MySQL 5..

what is minimum server configuration to install and successfully run the latest zencart 1.3.8 version in my server?

PHP 4.3.2 or higher,
Apache 1.3.x and
MySQL 3.23.x or higher.

Here's a little advice for you regarding Zen-Cart and web hosting. I have used Zen-Cart and OSCommerce on shared servers and similar environments. I found that because I was going cheap on web hosting, I ended up having a lot of downtime, which often meant serious loss of revenue. If you are serious about the store you are building (and using Zen-Cart implies that you probably are), then you might want to consider using a VPS, which gives you have a lot more control over what's happening on your web server.
