Free shipping options not showing in Google Checkout

I've asked this already in the Google Checkout mod's support thread, but no one seemed to have an answer. So I thought I would cast the net wider, to see if anyone has any ideas. (See http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...postcount=2893 including posting of my freeoptions admin settings.)

In our test site (kept down for maintenance), we are testing the possibility of offering free shipping within the U.S. for all orders of any size. We also want FedEx and USPS methods to show up alongside free shipping for U.S. shipping addresses, and only the paid methods to show up for those outside the U.S. I turned on the freeoptions module and applied a United States shipping zone to that module only, while keeping fedexexpress, fedexground, and usps as they were with no shipping zone. This works fine in Zen Cart checkout.

But if I go to Google Checkout, the FedEx rates show up, but the free shipping does not. (We de-activated USPS for Google Checkout orders due to excessive timeouts, so it wasn't appearing anyway.)

Relevant versions are:
Zen Cart 1.3.8a
freeoptions and usps shipping mods as included in ZC 1.3.8a
fedexexpress and fedexground shipping mods 1.3.7
googlecheckout payment mod 1.4.7

Where should I look to figure this out? If anyone would like to see the test site to see if you can spot anything, please PM me with either a time when you would like for me to open it up from maintenance (I'm in Eastern Time Zone), or your IP address so that I can authorize you for the test site.

I will be truly grateful for any help anyone can give.

Just in case anyone comes across this, I have solved my problem described above. It was a matter of invalid data in the zones table for the US Armed Forces zones. Anyone using those zones should check them against the current abbreviations as defined by the US Postal Service, and correct them as necessary. They were either wrong or outdated in the 1.3.8a zones table.

I am also trying to allow free shipping to any customer within the US, but can't get this to function. I have tried making a variety of other methods, i.e. flat, perweightitem, etc. at cost of $0, but nothing seems to work.

What was your fix for this?

I don't know why, but Google Checkout and FreeOptions don't like each other. I've tried several times to get them working together, but no matter what I do, whenever I activate FreeOptions, the red error under the Google Checkout Button appears, "Freeoptions Ignored"

If anyone knows how to make FreeOptions work with Google Checkout then please post a solution. It's not easy to offer free shipping incentives to everyone else but google Checkout customers.
