FireFox - Security Warning on Forms. HELP!

i'm getting this error when trying to add a product to the cart in firefox

Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?

As you can obviously tell, this is not a good error to be having for sales. Especially an e-store.

I have tried ajeh's method with $request_type to no avail. i'm not sure what files to modify and how to modify them, i'm not a PHP programmer. Please help!

I just added a product at your site and did not receive any error msg? Nor on you login/create account page; although you should change the Submit button.

Other than that, the error msg. you describe is from a default setting that each Browser has. Unless changed by the individual there is nothing you or any website, can do about it.

Did you use firefox? And thats not possible, everyone in the office is getting the message in FF also. and which submit button do you mean?

I got no error in IE 7, Chrome or FF latest

I went to your site and clicked the 'Log In' link at the very top right, no problems so far. Then I clicked on one of your products from the Manufacturers sidebox and I noticed the site is still under ssl. When I then click the 'Add to Cart' button for the product, I get a security warning (using K-Meleon), "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information".

Exactly. How could I go about fixing that?

Is the horizontal menu and the manufacturers box custom built? I bet so and they are set to build the link based on the base href rather than the http_server define. So when you come off of a secure page to a manufacturers link the cart stays secure, which it shouldn't. Then on the category page, the category description has the links to products set up the same way, so you end up landing on the product page secure, which of course causes the error when try to add to cart. If you fix it in the manufactures sidebox and the horizontal menu, you might not have the problem anymore moving from the category description links to the products.

The categories sidebox works as expected.

Yes, the topnav is customized, the manufacturers sidebox is not though. Do you have any idea how I would go about fixing this?
