perplexing tagline issue

Some time ago, I replaced the tagline with: “my first words”. Now, I wish to replace the tagline with: “my second words”, but when I went to includes/languages/Custom/English/header.php I found that document to be untouched and in the default state. Obviously, I changed the tagline somewhere else, but I can’t remember where. Curious, I went ahead and changed the tagline in includes/languages/Custom/English/header.php, but not surprisingly, it had no effect on the current tagline which must be located in a file that has precedence over header.php. I tried to trace the path using firebug but I got disoriented. So, I wonder does anyone know what other file I might have tampered with that could be controlling the tagline?
Ps: running zen cart 1.3.8a on linux ubuntu php 5.1.2

Search for 'my first words' and it will tell you what file Zencart is using to create the tagline.
