Please help with Advanced Search box

Please help I've tried many trials and erros to solve this could not do it ignored it for a while but now I really need to have it done.

What i want is to move the searh side box into the header area. The only way I can really explain this is with images. The following attachment are titled according to what I need done(i.e. What I want... What I have)..

I am pretty lazy myself ... so I would first turn on the Search Header sidebox ... sideboxes/search_header.php to ON for the Single Column and it will appear in the header ...

You can always customize that one further if you need to ...

Ajeh thanks for the humour I really needed that...However tried turning on the search_header.php and Could not customeize it to where I want it. Problems occuring

1. The search button is just pure text not a button
2.Does not contain the advances search button.

Believe me before I posted this I tried all that is possible to for the lazy men like you and I.

ps.I will turn that on so you can see what I mean.

Anyway ... I see your template is such that you have your code in the lower line and not the upper line ...

I am not much into design just coding ... but you should be able to utilize the code and customize the box in other locations of your header ...

I would have to dig up some old code as I am a tad immersed in writing v2.0 and have to remember where I stuck v1.3.8 ... I know it is around here somewhere ...

Not a problem at all. Hope you can find the code...I would love to take some of the load off but I doubt I would be of any help.

In a stock classic template the area you want to work on would be above the header
