    bug Adding categories and products problem

    Hello,

    I wonder if anyone can help me. I recently changed my database server and modified the product title and category lengths directly on the database and were displaying correctly on the website. However, when i log into my admin panel, i have found that in the category section the new titles are not being displayed as changed in the database. Also, when i add a new category it is not showing up on the website. I also tried to add an additional image to one of my products and that wouldn't display either? The database login details are correct in configure.php but it seems that the zen admin data is not being updated to the database and vice versa?

    zen cart v1.3.8a
    linux server
    vat, faq, quick updates, ask a question mods installed

    Very very carefully ... compare the files, from the server, for:
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

    Are you absolutely sure those files are calling the right databases?

    Also a good time to check the URLS, paths etc. of those two files ...

    NOTE: They are similar but different so one cannot replace the other ...

    Idea or Suggestion Re: Adding categories and products problem

    Thanks for the reply and the solution . I was using wise-ftp software to edit the files, which now i have found isn't very good. When i opened the configure php file from the admin folder using this software, all the details were the same as in the htdocs folder. When i manually downloaded the file using filezilla and then opened it with tswebeditor, i found that the file was completely different from the htdocs file. I have now changed the file with tswebeditor and that has resolved the problem. Thanks very much for your help.
