Okay, I know this is going to sound...odd. Maybe. I dunno. I can't find anything on this exact issue and I'm thinking it's because I'm looking for the wrong terms. So I'm going to give it a shot and ask. (Feel free to kick me in the teeth if this has already been answered, because I'm sure it has - I just can't find it!)

I'm doing a cart for a deli. I have a mod installed - I can't remember what it's called (I'm sorry - been a long weekend with sick kids) but it places the attributes in a grid so you can say "I want 3 chocolate donuts and 2 plain" kind of thing. (Duh, Products Attributes grid maybe? LOL)

Okay, so here's the thing: I'll use their begals as an example. The bagels with Cream cheese are $2.39 a pop. They have "plain", "sesame" and "everything" bagels. But they also sell them by the dozen - $28.68 per dozen (which, if you divide that by 12, you get them at the same price: 2.39 each).

the thing is, they want BOTH prices to show up. They want people to choose to buy a bagel for $2.39, or to put in a dozen and break up the difference between the boxes in the grid (i.e. 2 plain, 5 everything, 5 sesame). However, when you do that, it charges $28.68 per *bagel*, so you end up with a $350 order for a dozen bagels. Now, I'm sure the bagels are delicious, but they aren't gold-plated or dusted with diamonds, you know.

Essentially, if you're on the first part of the grid, you can enter in the "2 plain, 5 everything, 5 sesame" and the right price comes out. So they're pretty much just looking to have the same thing, but show it twice.

So I don't know...I'm trying to sort this out and I don't know if ti's brainfreeze or what. Can I have a regular dropdown show up (for when people want to order a single bagel) and then ALSO have a grid for when people want to order a dozen? Or is there some kind of offset I can add to the $28.68 attribute that'll correct the price? I've already recommended just skipping the "dozen" price, but they *want* it there.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd surely appreciate it.
