If I use attributes to list my products, will a search engine be able to see each different variation available?

At this time, the built in Search does not search Attributes ...

And I don't believe a search engine is going to "see" each possible attribute combination as a separate and complete product, which I think is what you wanted to know. They should be able to see some of the attributes; I don't know what is visible to a spider in a dropdown.
