Hi there I would love some assistance if I can please. I have been trawling the forum for hours & we have tried many things to resolve & my customer is not happy (which is fair enough). And I'm not really a programmer.
Zen Cart 1.3.8a
www.curriculumconcepts.co.nz
Ok, in the customers office they are using IE7 and Firefox, but mostly IE7.
Problem 1. They log in as a customer to the site, and if they have anything saved in their basket from previous logins, it appears only until you go and add another product. Then, the basket just dumps the historical prods & keeps the new one.
Problem 2. When they go into the shopping cart contents page, and delete a product from their basket, it logs them out of the site.
They are using an SSL cert and initially approx 18hours ago we managed to replicate some errors in our office & fix up the secure/non-secure items and also we changed the session details to as below:
Session Directory /var/www/html/cache
Cookie Domain True
Force Cookie Use False
Check SSL Session ID False
Check User Agent False
Check IP Address False
Prevent Spider Sessions True
Recreate Session False
IP to Host Conversion Status true
I worked out it was Service Pack 2 on the pc's actually bringing up the problems, how weird it that anyway, SP3 wouldnt produce any problems. However, I now cannot replicate their issues here, even testing remotely from other pcs.
I have queried that it might be an in-house problem, as I dont know how many complaints they have now from their own customers since we fixed it this morning, but I was wondering if anyone else can shed any light on this for me? We are in danger of having the site taken down & this would cause lots of problems. Really appreciate you assistance. Let me know if you need anything more. Many Many Thanks, Mandy
