Switching to Camelot Hosting

Hello. I don't know if this is the right area to post this in. I purchased godaddy hosting, SSl certificate and have a domain. I have set up my database and have a functionally running shop with over 1000 customers. I have now realized reading this forum that godaddy is not the best host for me - my website is tremendously slow.

I have purchased Camelot hosting and would like to know if there is a way for me to successfully transfer the shop without loosing the database and reinstalling ZenCart anew.

Thank you for any suggestions or a point in the right direction to ask this.

I was thinking about moving my site to Camelot hosting but a friend of mine has been with them for about 8 months and he recommended me not to, to be fair, he said the server is fast but the support is terrible and they always blame things on the site owner.

He said that he has a problem during the site transfer which they did not set the correct language when they moved the DB, the email was not working since the correct port was not given and during the move numerous files including code and images were missing.

If you have not signed up save your money.

That sounds a little harsh! From what I've heard and read on the forum - these guys are topnotch!

Camelot are probably the most reliable ZC hosts on the planet...

I have seen some of the emails that was exchanged between Tony and my friend and i remember the frustration he was going through.

Just because someone has his name on the recommended hosting list that does not make them one of the best hosting out there.

I just called my friend and asked for an update "I do not want be harsh", he told me that his Google froogle feed generator has not worked since he transferred his site over to Camelot (He has been using a file that was generated before he moved his site and he has to change the expiration date by search/replace evey month).
