Problem solved. There was a space between the end of the name before '.zip'. I removed space and I NOW HAVE A GREEN DOT. Thanks to Misty, Ajeh and Justin. Now i am about to move my download folder above my public level. i know i need to redirect the path. Can anyone tell if 'full path' means WWW. domain name/home/user name/download?ps i have spent time in N.Z

    The ol' mystery space ...

    Hate when those happen ...

The space in a filename or field or database table has often caused some strange issues and is very hard to find ...

thanks for the update and letting us know "how" that was fixed ...

Hi everyone. Re: moving download folder. Further to my question about the full path- in admin/incl/config.php there is a line about complete path being - 'var/www/vhost/accountname/public_html/store'. I guess account name might be my user name but i don't know what'var' or 'vhost' mean. In the tutorials it mentions altering config.php file to read '/home/username/download/') after relocating. Do i need to put any of 'var/www/ etc before /home? I was also wondering if perhaps someone could help me with adding .zip extensions to my .htacces file.

Hi Misty. Re: moving folder. I read in one of the tutorials/faq's /index.php? article=121 'how do i secure my downloads folder...' that to prevent unauthorised acces to downloads the folder should be moved above public level and config. files changed to point to new location. i must admit it seems complicated. Is it really essential?

OK. Thanks for the advice. I'll leave things as they are.
